It’s a match made in heaven for lovers of everything retro, vintage and antique as two of Toronto’s largest shows announce that they are moving in together. For two adrenalin-fuelled days, shoppers can discover an amazing array of one-of-a-kind vintage and retro clothing at the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show and explore a treasure trove of hand-picked antique and vintage decor at the Toronto Antique & Vintage Market. Two separate shows, but under one roof and just one admission fee.
Toronto Vintage Society is happy to announce that we will be holding an online contest from Wednesday, February 25th until Wednesday, March 4th to win a $50 Gift Certificate to use at the show OR a pair of weekend passes for the show!

The Toronto Vintage Society itself, is no stranger to the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show! In 2014 we worked closely with the show to help bring what they created in Ottawa to the Toronto scene. Having already many smaller shopping events, we knew that Toronto would be able to bring the shoppers to the event, but what we needed was an event of this magnitude! The show was also a huge catalyst for our own Toronto presence. Using it as a opportunity to showcase what we do, last March we had our own booth to harness new fans and show the city that we take vintage VERY seriously.
There was also lots of live tweeting our unique finds...and discovering Toronto's fashionable vintage people!
Here is a small collection of vendors that you can expect to see at the show!
CAROLE TANENBAUM VINTAGE COLLECTION
Iconic vintage costume jewelery retailer, the Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection has announced plans to hold their first ever spring-cleaning event, which will be held at the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show. This is a rare and exceptional opportunity for vintage fashion lovers to discover some amazing treasures including bags, brooches, necklaces, earrings, cufflinks and rings. The entire collection is over 20,000 pieces and is sold in retail locations around the world including Dubai, London, Tokyo, Chicago and Toronto.
CHANEL TOUCH
Making a rare appearance is one of North America’s foremost experts on vintage Chanel purses, Cyndee Lavoie, owner of Chanel Touch. Lavoie states “We can offer a pre-owned classic bag that is in excellent or better condition for generally 50-60% off the original retail price. This is a substantial savings”. Savvy shoppers can shop with confidence knowing that the authenticity of all of her vintage Chanel purses are unconditionally guaranteed.
THE IAN DRUMMOND COLLECTION
Toronto’s vintage clothing specialist The Ian Drummond Collection will be on the show floor with a huge offering of exceptional garments. The collection is noted for its vast inventory of authentic vintage clothing and provides wardrobe for Hollywood movies such as Chicago, The Aviator and Capote.
PRIMETIME ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES
Ottawa’s Primetime is one of Canada’s fastest growing vintage fashion vendors. Sourcing much of their inventory south of the border, owner Judy Grummich notes “Out of all my dresses that I have sold, by far, the most popular has been the party dress with the cinched in waist and flared skirt a la Audrey Hepburn. This style of dress is a favorite of both the very traditional vintage follower as well as the edgy, over the top, fashion-forward collector with body piercings, blue hair etcetera!”
ANDREW ZEGERS - ZEGERS DESIGN AND EXTREME COLLECTORS
Andrew Zegers, host of the television show Extreme Collectors will be participating. Andrew’s company, Zegers Design is one of Canada’s premiere sources for mid-century modern. Mid century modern refers, in part, to designs in furnishings from the middle of the 20th century. Knoll explains, “Yes it is a bona fide design movement – but the way I describe it is a little less scholarly! Think of a picture of the Las Vegas ’Rat Pack’ - Sammy, Dean, Frank and Joey- hanging out at 50’s era home – that décor is likely to be mid century modern”!
Its going to be a very exciting weekend for Toronto's vintage and antique lovers!
We hope to see you there!
